The caisse understands the challenges and issues facing its members. With their support, it can provide its fellow citizens with valuable help regarding initiatives aimed at common betterment and the advancement of society.

For financial aid requests of $1,000 or more, please fill out the Community Development Fund request form in Community development.
The Caisse has a help fund that allots a part of the cooperative’s surplus earnings to the community. The Board of Directors ruled that, during the Annual General Meeting, members decide on what surplus earnings are given to the help fund. With the help of their Caisse, members can contribute to causes that are important to them.
The Board of Directors manages the help fund and reports on it each year at the Annual General Meeting.
The 2020 Community Development Fund call for project period is now open.
Need a financial boost to launch or carry out a project that impacts residents in the area served by the Rivière-à-Pierre, Saint-Raymond, Sainte-Christine, Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier, Fossambault-sur-le-Lac, Lac-Sergent, Saint-Léonard and Lac-Saint-Joseph caisses?
Now is the time to submit to your caisse your request for funding. You have until December 20, 2019, to submit your request.
Amounts ranging from $1,000 to $50,000 will be awarded to the projects considered the most appropriate for our community.

As part of the Desjardins Youth Focus program, the Caisse populaire Desjardins de Saint-Raymond-Sainte-Catherine has set up a student scholarship program, aimed at local vocational, college, and university students. The Caisse donates $14,000 in student bursaries each year.
The Caisse has been encouraging young people to join the workforce for several years now. The Desjardins Youth Work Experience Program encourages summer job creation for teens age 15 to 17.
In 2012, the Caisse pursued a youth services cooperative project for the cities of Saint-Raymond and Saint-Léonard. Approximately 15 young people created their own cooperative.
