[A young person (Youth 1) is sitting on a sofa and speaking to the camera. Other young people are sitting at tables behind him. Then we notice 3 teens playing pool and having fun.]

Youth 1: If you're looking for a safe place to go, both physically and emotionally, this is the spot.

[A facilitator is sitting on the sofa. She's wearing a name tag that says Charlotte. Young people are playing pool behind her. Then we see a young person playing ping-pong.]

Facilitator 1 (Charlotte): We really have it all. We have sports, art, volunteering. We offer a whole range of activities.

[Another young person who's sitting on the sofa (Youth 2) faces the camera and starts speaking. Other young people are sitting studying at tables behind her. Then, we see a facilitator who's standing and talking with young people who are sitting at a table. After this, we see a young person who's dancing while looking at the camera.]

Youth 2: TeenZone can offer a lot of things, like, during school, you can get a tutor and it's really helpful. You can also, during the school year, you have cooking on Thursdays. And it's really fun because we put music and we cook together, and it feels like when we eat together, it feels like we're a family.

[We see 2 young men at a table. They're helping each other. Another young person who's sitting on the sofa (Youth 3) begins to speak. He's holding a basketball which reads Zone Jeunesse.]

Youth 3: It's a place where you can have fun and learn life lessons from positive role models, the facilitators.

[We see young people clapping and a boy (Youth 4, Abdallah) who's smiling and running around with his arms up, celebrating his victory after a game of pool. Another facilitator who's sitting on the sofa (Facilitator 2) begins to speak. She's wearing a name tag that says “Isabella.”]

Facilitator 2 (Isabella): Take Abdallah, for instance. He started coming last November. He hardly spoke any English and didn't speak any French.

[A young person who's sitting on the sofa (Youth 4, Abdallah) starts speaking, then smiles.]

Youth 4 (Abdallah): I speak French now.

[Another young person who's sitting on the sofa (Youth 5) starts speaking.]

Youth 5: They helped me do things I never dreamed I could do.

[We see a facilitator sitting at a table with Youth 5. Facilitator 1 (Charlotte) is sitting on the sofa and starts speaking again.]

Facilitator 1 (Charlotte): At our TeenZone, we have amazing kids who are really talented and involved who will be extraordinary adults if we just give them the chance.
