Caisse d'économie solidaire Desjardins is the social economy's leading financial institution in Quebec. It provides a financial approach and solutions designed for the needs of socially-owned enterprises and financial partners of the social economy.

Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif is the venture capital fund management arm of Desjardins Group. It provides businesses financing that combines the characteristics of a loan and equity financing.

Filaction is a non-profit organization for Quebec businesses in all industries. It contributes to a business' growth by making investments and supporting its projects.

The Réseau d'investissement social du Québec is a non-profit-making venture capital fund whose mission is to provide financing to partnership businesses.

Founded in 1937 as Canada's first volunteer centre, the VBM's mission is to promote volunteerism in the community. It offers non-profit organizations volunteer recruitment and referral services, training workshops for volunteer resource managers, organizes volunteer fairs, and provides support to a network of roughly 80 Meals on Wheels and Community Lunch groups.

The Conseil québécois de la coopération et de la mutualité contributes to the economic and social development of Québec by fostering the growth of the cooperative movement in Quebec with respect to the principles and values of the International Cooperative Alliance.

The Coopérative de développement régional du Québec (CDRQ) supports the creation and development of cooperatives across Quebec. It uses its expertise to assist both existing cooperatives and individuals working to launch new business projects.

Investissement Québec has several economic development tools such as the Fonds d'intervention économique régional (FIER) and the Programme d'appui stratégique à l'investissement (PASI) to help companies adapt to the challenges of constantly changing markets. We also administer fiscal measures that enable eligible businesses to receive generous tax credits to carry out activities in targeted sectors.

The Direction's mission is to foster the creation and growth of cooperatives and contribute to the development of cooperation through appropriate follow-ups and support.
