Marie-Claude Boisvert is Chief Operating Officer of Desjardins Business Capital régional et coopératif. In this capacity, Ms. Boisvert oversees, among other things, the management of the tax-advantaged Capital régional et coopératif Desjardins fund.

Since joining Desjardins in 1994, Ms. Boisvert has held various positions including Senior Vice-President of Investment and Operations.

Ms. Boisvert has over 20 years' experience in business financing in Quebec. During her career, she has carried out audit, interim management, business turnaround and other consulting engagements for numerous SMEs. She also served as chief financial officer at a public company specializing in environmental research and development.

Ms. Boisvert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) and is a member of Québec's CA order, the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec. She also sits on the board of several organizations, including the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés, TV5 and Emerillon Capital. Ms. Boisvert is also chair of the TV5 audit committees and member of the TV5 strategic planning committee. Ms. Boisvert also supports humanitarian and social causes, notably through her involvement with Les petits frères, an organization that provides assistance for seniors.

A well-known and respected member of the business community, in 2010, Ms. Boisvert was named to the top 100 of Canada's Most Powerful Women in the Corporate Executives category. In 2011, she received the Prix Performance bestowed by the Réseau ESG UQAM in the manager category.
