Night deposits

How night deposits work

  1. Fill out and print your deposit slip.
  2. Put the slip and the cash or cheques you want to deposit into a deposit envelope.
  3. Go to your caisse or branch and drop the envelope in the deposit box at any time, day or night.

How to get this service 

Go to the caisse or branch where you want to make your deposits in order to:

  • Sign the service agreement
  • Get your key for the deposit box
  • Get your deposit envelopes

ATM night deposit

Exclusive to Desjardins Business Debit Card holders, this option lets you access your money faster.

  • When you make a deposit at an ATM, select ATM night deposits to confirm your transaction.
  • The deposited funds will appear in your account and be available more quickly.

This option is also available for deposit-only debit cards.

What is a deposit slip?

A deposit slip is a document that an account holder fills out before depositing cash or cheques into their account. It specifies the individual amounts being deposited and the total amount, as well as the date, account number and name of the account holder.

Why do I need a deposit slip?

Using a deposit slip when depositing cash or cheques reduces the risk of error and makes it easier for us to process your deposit. You can also keep copies in your records to use as proof of deposit if necessary.
