Strong performance

Financial results

Combined surplus earnings before member dividends of $1,530 million, a higher result than in 2012. And a total of $252 million returned to members and the community.

Partnerships and acquisitions

Desjardins and Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec have partnered to invest $230 million more over the next 3 years in the Capital Croissance PME fund managed by Desjardins Venture Capital to support new businesses.

Awards and recognition

Desjardins Group named one of Canada's Top 100 Employers by MediaCorp for a second consecutive year.

Reliable partnerships

Education and cooperation

Nearly $15.9 million committed to our education and cooperation program, and over 400,000 visitors to the Co-opme section of Desjardins.com, the program's main platform/venue.

Contribution to the community

$81 million reinvested in the community in the form of donations, sponsorships, philanthropic partnerships and scholarships.

New products

Interac e-Transfers™ on AccèsD Internet and mobile. Members can now transfer funds from their Desjardins accounts to recipients in other Canadian financial institutions.

Sustainable development products

With the Desjardins Ready-to-Drive green option, our members can buy a new vehicle and respect their environmental values.

Green management

We pursued our initiatives to encourage employees to opt for greener travel options, such as public and active transportation, carpooling and car sharing.
