Caisse Desjardins Richelieu–Saint-Mathias has a long tradition of involvement with local youth. This is why it is so enthusiastic about the massive concerted effort being made by all Desjardins components toward youth outreach.

Caisse Desjardins Richelieu–Saint-Mathias also contributes to Fondation Desjardins, which gives out over a half million dollars in bursaries each year.

School caisse

To help introduce children to sound savings habits at an early age, the Caisse Desjardins Richelieu–Saint-Mathias actively supports the educational school caisse services at the Pointe-Olivier, Curé-Martel and Saint-Joseph schools.
