Caisses populaires acadiennes

The Fédération des caisses populaires acadiennes was founded in 1946 in an area where the economy is based on natural resources. Affiliated caisses are involved in many initiatives that improve the quality of life of New Brunswick Acadians with respect to their cultural identity. As such, they have been a major sponsor of the Acadian Games since 1980. The head office of the Fédération is in Caraquet.
