Interac Email Money Transfers

Interac Email Money Transfers enables caisse members to receive funds from account holders at banks that offer the service (Royal Bank, CIBC, Bank of Montreal, ScotiaBank and TD Bank).

When someone transfers funds via their bank’s transactional application, the recipient member receives a Interac money transfer notice, by email, providing them with instructions on how to deposit the money. Funds are transferred into the member’s account by direct deposit. Recipients receive funds within 3 to 5 business days. A $2.50 fee is debited from the deposit account.
