Desjardins Personal Line of Credit application – Instructions

Only amounts of $5,000 or more can be obtained through a line of credit. For amounts under $5,000, apply for a VISA Desjardins Card or Accord D Desjardins financing instead. If you occasionally need financing under $5,000, find out about the Overdraft Transfer service.

Make applying online easy

Time required to fill out the application:	Between 10 and 30 minutes. (For security purposes, your application form will be automatically terminated after 30 minutes of inactivity.)
Application processing time:	A Desjardins advisor will call within 24 hours (business days) of receiving your application.
Information to provide:	Your gross monthly income (before taxes). Your employers from the last 3 years. Your addresses of the last 3 years. Your monthly housing costs (rent, room and board). Your monthly electricity and heating costs. The value of your vehicles (make and model) and properties. The value of your non-Desjardins assets (investments and savings). The value of your non-Desjardins liabilities (loans, credit card balances, etc.). The monthly payments and balances of your credit cards, lines of credit, personal loans and mortgages (including property taxes); car lease payments and other financial commitments (interest-free financing, pay in one year, etc.).
If the application is in the name of a single borrower:	Enter your personal account (folio) number in the Caisse section in Step 1.
If the application is in 2 names (joint application):	Enter your joint account number in the Caisse section in Step 1. The first borrower must complete the application and forward the confirmation number to the second borrower (co-applicant). The co-applicant has 30 days to complete his or her application. If the application is not received within 30 days, the first application is cancelled.
Tip:	As your application cannot be saved, please print a copy for your files before submitting it.
