Student Savings Account application form – Instructions

Fill out the Student Savings Account form to open a Lump-Sum Student Savings account with a single deposit or a Student Savings by Instalment account with periodic instalments.

The form cannot be printed. We recommend you print a copy for your records before submitting the form.

Make applying online easy

Time required to complete application:	Approximately 10 minutes. (For security purposes, your application form will be automatically terminated after 30 minutes of inactivity.)
Application processing time:	A Desjardins advisor will follow up within 24 hours (business days) of receiving your form to finalize the application.
Specific requirements:	You must be between ages 18 and 25 when you submit the form. You must have a Desjardins Youth Profit Account. If you do not qualify, you have other options: If you are under age 18: Desjardins Chromatic Savings. If you are over age 25 or if you do not have Desjardins Youth Profit Account: Redeemable Savings.
Information to provide:	Your caisse's contact information. Amount and frequency of transfers if saving by instalments.
