Auto Rental Collision/Loss Damage Insurance

If you or family members are the victim of theft or accident while in a rental vehicle, compensation for property damage may equal the full value of the vehicle plus acceptable loss of use charges.

Auto Rental Collision/Loss Damage Insurance is automatic and offered at no additional cost provided that:

You use your VISA Desjardins card to pay the entire vehicle rental of 48 consecutive days or less.
You decline the collision damage option offered in the rental contract.

The coverage, offered by Royal & Sun Alliance of Canada, covers most vehicles (limousines and long-term lease vehicles, for example, are not covered) and is valid nearly everywhere in the world.
