The VISA Desjardins FOR STUDENTS ONLY card is the only credit card in Canada to offer Cell Phone Insurance1 at no charge.
- To take advantage of this no-fee insurance, cardholders must register their cell phone account for authorized payment service or buy prepaid airtime cards with their VISA Desjardins FOR STUDENTS ONLY card.
- The cardholder's cell phone is insured up to $2002,3 in the event of loss or theft (a $25 deductible applies).
- This insurance applies to the primary cardholder only, once annually and a maximum of 2 times over 4 years.

1. Cell Phone Insurance is underwritten by Lombard General Insurance Company of Canada.
2. Purchase of a new handset must be charged to the VISA Desjardins FOR STUDENTS ONLY card.
3. This policy covers only excess insurance and/or refund of deductible for all other insurance policies in effect and/or not covered by the cellular service provider and/or the manufacturer (equipment upgrade or replacement at no
charge).
