Eligibility

Regardless of whether you are a salaried employee, seasonal or self-employed worker, student or retiree, you are eligible if you are the:

• borrower
• borrower's spouse
• borrower's guarantor

Age of eligibility

• You must be under age 70 for life insurance.
• You must be under age 65 enrolled in the life insurance coverage for disability insurance.

Health questions

In most cases, eligibility is determined on the basis of a few medical questions you are asked at the time you apply for your Versatile Line of Credit. Based on your responses, you may have to complete an Evidence of Insurability Report.
