1. Insured under age 25 at the time of the accident.
2. Insured aged 25 or older at the time of the accident.
The Insurer reimburses certain expenses incurred for an insured as a result of an accident such as a hospital room, nursing care, drugs and emergency transportation.
These reimbursements are subject to limits.
When an insured receives dental care following an accident, the Insurer reimburses the expenses incurred:
The Insurer reimburses the transportation and accommodation expenses incurred as a result of an accident for the following treatment:
The treatment must not be available within 50 km of the insured's home. The 50 km distance is based on a one-way trip only. The insurance also covers the reasonable expenses of an accompanying person.
The maximum reimbursement is $1,000 per accident.
The Insurer reimburses the expenses for private tutoring, school transportation, re-orientation and tuition fees engaged for an insured student who has become totally disabled due to an accident.
These reimbursements are subject to limits.
If, as a result of an accident that occurs during the school year, an insured student age 17 to 24 inclusive becomes totally disabled during the summer vacation period, the Insurer will pay him a monthly benefit. This benefit compensates for the loss of summer employment.
The maximum benefit is $850 a month, less any benefit payable by a government board or body.
