3. Find an apartment

Landing the perfect apartment is not always a simple task: it must be your style, well located and affordable, among other things. How do you make the right choice?

What type of rental?

A room in a residence? An apartment? A house? With roommates or alone? That is the question!

Know your needs and tastes – and those of your roommate (if you have one, of course)

  • Carpeting or wood floors?
  • How many closed rooms?
  • First, second or third floor?
  • Washer and dryer hook-ups?
  • Furnished, semi-furnished or unfurnished?
  • Heating included?
  • Parking included?
  • Will the owner pay for the paint?
  • And so much more…

A thousand and one questions to ask in order to choose the best place!

Organize your search

You can find the best apartment for you in the local newspaper, classified ads or posted at school. To be on the safe side, check specialized search tools on the Internet such as Appart-Zone as well.
