Notify the companies that bill you automatically!

If you change your VISA Desjardins card, either for a VISA Desjardins card in another category or because you need to replace a card that was lost or stolen, remember to notify all the companies who bill their services on a regular, automatic basis to your VISA Desjardins account.

When you authorize a company to bill you automatically on your VISA Desjardins account, that company uses your credit card number to charge the amount due. When you change your card, a new card number is issued. To avoid damaging your credit file, make sure you notify all the companies you deal with, such as your cable company, fitness centre or insurance broker of your new account number, so that your payments are made as planned and you are charged no late payment fees.
