Travel light

To avoid packing your entire wardrobe, make a list and stick to it. Bring wrinkle-resistant and coordinated clothes, including walking shoes, a bathing suit, a raincoat and a warm or lightweight outfit, depending on your destination. You might consider bringing the following items as well: knapsack, plastic bags, sewing kit, damp cloths, safety pins, travel clothesline, pocket knife, pocket dictionary, books and games, address book and tourist information. Take along some insect repellent and sun block and don't forget to leave some room in your luggage to bring back your souvenirs.
