Lower insurance premiums for hybrid vehicle owners

Has the price of gas made you start thinking about buying a hybrid vehicle? Did you know that if you own a hybrid, Desjardins General Assurance will give you 10% off your car insurance premium?

The number of hybrid cars insured by Desjardins has jumped from 604 in 2006 to 1,087 only one year later, for an increase of 80%.

This initiative is part of the sustainable development policy which Desjardins adopted in 2006 to reaffirm its commitment to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and to the Kyoto Protocol.
