Did you know that Desjardins Financial Security Death coverage – Paid-up After 10 Years covers you for life but the payment period is spread over 10 years?
As of the 5th year, coverage includes:
- cash surrender value (amount payable if you terminate coverage)
- paid-up insurance value (coverage amount that remains in place with no more insurance payments due)
This coverage is available to people age 0 to 75 years. The coverage amount is established based on a needs analysis and the cost varies according to coverage selected and personal factors (age, gender, smoker or non-smoker, general health, etc.).
