Critical illness insurance: unique coverage on the market

Critical illness insurance covers you for expenses incurred for covered illnesses, allowing you to maintain your financial stability and focus on your health and recovery. You are free to use benefits as you see fit to:
- pay for medication or health care not covered by provincial medicare plans
- obtain home health care and services (housekeeping, meal preparation, basic hygiene)
- allow your spouse to take time off work to be with you
