Young entrepreneurs: the Créavenir program is for you

Did you know that Desjardins Group, in collaboration with the Quebec government's "Secrétariat à la jeunesse", set up a new financing program for young entrepreneurs between ages 18 and 35?

The Créavenir program is managed by the caisses, their business financial centres and community organizations, and provides financing to young people who don't qualify for traditional financing without requiring the usual guarantees. Budding entrepreneurs can use the program to create working capital or get interest-free loans that are payable as of the second year.

Features

Créavenir is for people who:

  • are age 18 to 35
  • are or will become members of a participating caisse
  • want to start a business or already have had a business (financed by personal funds) for less than 2 years
  • agree to be mentored by the Centre local de développement (CLD) or the Coopérative de développement régional (CDR)
  • have a viable business plan
