How to review your investment strategy

Consult an advisor who will use a questionnaire to evaluate your changing needs and pinpoint where you are in terms of your:

  • Investment horizon
  • Anticipated retirement
  • Attitude about market fluctuations
  • Investment goals
  • Financial knowledge

Your answers will reveal which aspects of your investor profile have changed and help your advisor recommend some changes.

A new strategy doesn't necessarily require new investments. Sometimes, you just have to reorganize your portfolio by transferring financial products or mutual funds to achieve optimal diversification, which will (and we can't stress this enough) help increase your return potential while decreasing risk.
