Open an account and become a member – Instructions

 Fill out the application online. A Desjardins advisor will contact you to get any additional information required to open the account best suited to your needs, and let you know the next steps to follow.

This application is for you if:	you are in the process of immigrating to Canada, and you are not yet a resident of Canada.
Time required to fill out the application:	Approximately 5 minutes. (For security purposes, your application form will be automatically terminated after 30 minutes of inactivity.)
Follow-up and processing:	A Desjardins advisor will contact you within 48 hours (business days). Once in Canada, you must go to the caisse specified by the Desjardins advisor to finalize the opening of your account.
Documents required to complete the application:	Your passport. Other official documents issued by the Government of Canada or the Quebec Government as part of your immigration application. If appropriate, offer of employment letter from your Canadian employer.
Recommendations:	Your application cannot be saved; please print a copy for your records before submitting it.
