Développement international Desjardins (DID) personnel is quite familiar with the pleasant sounds of Wolof, a language commonly spoken in Senegal. Desjardins cooperative spirit knows no borders: since 1970, DID has actively supported the caisses populaires network in developing countries, particularly in Senegal. Thus, around thirty organizations provide quality financial services to people that are left behind by traditional banks. Together, they count nearly 3 million members and 4,400 employees.
