Reduce service charges? Yes, it's possible!

Some regular transactions are subject to service charges that are withdrawn automatically from your account on the last business day of the month.

Good news: you can reduce your service charges by using Desjardins ATMs and by choosing the right products and services.

The Desjardins Youth Profit Account, for example, gives accountholders between 18 and 21 years of age and full-time students between 21 and 25 years of age a rebate of up to $4 on monthly service charges. The rebate applies to per transaction fees or to monthly fixed-rate plans. With a monthly fixed-rate plan, you not only reduce account expenses but know in advance the amount due each month.

What's more, paying your bills online or at a Desjardins ATM, with no paper or envelope, can help you save $0.50 on each transaction as compared to paying them at the teller counter or using an envelope at the ATM:

  • At the ATM, use the "Bill registered in your file" function rather than "Another bill". How to add a bill to your file
  • Pay your bills online on AccèsD Internet service. To register for AccèsD for free, call 1-800-CAISSES. Find out more about bill payments
