DID internship programs
Développement international Desjardins (DID) operates in nearly 30 developing countries and has found an excellent way of preparing a new generation of young and dynamic professionals. In collaboration with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Human Resources and Social Development Canada, DID takes part in that International Youth Internships1 program.
Internship activities may involve:
- designing and implementing financial management tools;
- training human resources in budget and financial management;
- designing and developing strategies for the integration of women into financial institutions.
Interns may also help create action plans to reach the financial targets of the network of financial cooperatives for which they work.
