Want to go away and live a cross-cultural experience? There are many youth exchange programs available.
CIDA Internship Program
International Youth Internships and other programs for young people between 19 to 30 years old. Their goal? Make young people aware of global issues and encourage them to make a contribution to international cooperation.
Young International Internship Program

Développement international Desjardins
Développement international Desjardins (DID) is a component of the Desjardins Group and has been providing support for the creation, development and strengthening of financial institutions in twenty countries in Africa, Latin America, the
Caribbean and Central and Eastern Europe for over 35 years.
In collaboration with the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) and Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC), DID takes part in the International Youth Internship program.

This program involves creating and providing employment opportunities and work experience for Canadian university and college graduates through international internships with Canadian exporters of environmental products and services.

Office franco-québécois pour la jeunesse (OFQJ) (in French only)
The OFQJ works with young adults age 18 to 35, who are proponents of transatlantic projects, whether they be entrepreneurs, artists or researchers, employees, job seekers or students. Through the programs it offers, the OFQJ allows young people to enjoy
an experience that promotes the development of competencies, outreach of talent and exposure to other cultures.
Office Québec-Amériques pour la jeunesse (OQAJ)
The OQAJ offers various programs for young adults age 18 to 35 who want to work or complete an internship abroad. Since its foundation in September 2000, the Office has made it possible for 4,500 of them to do so in 23 countries of the Americas.
