Isabelle grew up in this neighbourhood. So when it came to managing her money, she chose Desjardins. It was a no-brainer for her because she knew how much her caisse helps the neighbourhood and the environment.

Isabelle is the kind of person who’s always bursting with energy. She was Class President in high school and captain of her basketball team in college.

She’s always been willing to get involved in her community, so it came as no surprise when she was accepted for the Young Intern Officer program, a one-of-a-kind learning experience with her cooperative.

Isabelle learned all about the inner workings of Desjardins Group, one of the top 100 financial institutions in the world. She got to share her opinions with the Board of Directors and, as a bonus, she has developed a network of social and professional contacts.

After her internship, Isabelle also took advantage of her caisse’s employment program to break into the job market. She’s not the only one! Each year, Desjardins helps around 1,000 young people find summer jobs.

Her caisse also offers the Créavenir program, which helps young entrepreneurs with business advice and flexible loans.

Isabelle chose Desjardins because each caisse is a cooperative that belongs to its members. As a member, she can have her say at Annual General Meetings…and her right to vote is important.

But most of all, Isabelle is proud to belong to a cooperative that cares about the same things she does: developing her community and protecting the environment.
