Are you between 18 and 25 years of age? Did you know you can save on transaction fees and earn higher interest rates than you would with traditional accounts? With the Desjardins Youth Profit Account, you get many advatanges, e.g. a $4 rebate on monthly service charges. The rebate applies to unit transaction fees or to a plan’s monthly rate.

The Student STRATEGIC account is even mre interesting if you are enrolled in one of the following programs of study: actuarial studies, chiropractic, dentistry, veterinary medicine, optometry, pharmacy, pharmacology, podiatrics, accounting (CA, CGA, CMA) or engineering (all fields).

To prevent a hold on funds

Your caisse advisor can adjust the maximum deposit amount allowed to your account to give you the latitude you need while still protecting you against fraud. You can therefore avoid holds on funds when you make cash or cheque deposits at Desjardins ATMs or when funds, such as your paycheque, are deposited automatically to your account. Don't hesitate to call on your advisor if your needs change.
