Caisses Desjardins du Québec and Caisses populaires de l'Ontario [Change site]

Are your children learning to save money through their school caisse? Now there is a special member dividend just for them: Youth Dividends, for young members of school caisses. These fixed-amount member dividends were created by the Desjardins caisses1 to highlight the savings efforts of young people who are school caisse members.
Youth Dividends reward school caisse members not only for the amount they have saved, but for their discipline and commitment in making regular deposits to their school caisse account. For the 2008-2009 school year, participating caisses paid nearly $350,000 to more than 35,700 kids who were eligible for Youth Dividends.
In mid-June, eligible young members received a letter announcing the news, along with a small gift, and dividends were paid into their accounts at the end of June, 2009.
For the 2009-2010 school year, Youth Dividends will be deposited into the accounts of children who have made at least 7 deposits, regardless of the amount.

Encourage your kids to be active members of their school caisse!
1. Youth Dividends for school caisse members are provided by participating Desjardins caisses.
