Recycling tips

Aluminium is found everywhere in nature, but not in the form of usable metal. It must first be extracted before it is used to make anything else.

The process requires a lot of electricity so it is cheaper to recycle aluminium than to make new products from raw material. And, one truly amazing thing about an aluminium can for example, is that it can be recycled over and over again without ever losing its properties!

Recycled aluminium is used to make:
  • bicycles
  • baseball bats
  • car parts
  • garden furniture
  • construction materials
  • wrapping paper
  • cans and various containers
  • and much more!
