Commercial practices![]() Our commercial practices with respect to young people affect both the way we do business with them and the range of products and services we offer them. Desjardins offers 2 products specifically designed for students:
Buying a car is a milestone for young adults and the cost of insurance is often a major deterrent. Desjardins General Insurance's rate-setting practices continue to reflect the experience these young people have acquired. Preventive measuresA number of measures have also been introduced to prevent young people from getting too heavily into debt. These include calling young people whose payment habits are changing. Finally, our Chrome@dos program for 12- to 17- year-olds is aimed at helping them develop sound financial habits. |
