Allergic to homework?

You say you’re allergic to homework? I’m afraid that’s impossible! But you could be allergic to mildew, peanuts, milk or eggs.

If you are allergic, it's important to inform all your teachers and the school nurse at the beginning of the school year. They'll know what to do in an emergency. What about your friends? It may be a good idea to mention it to them too. Talking about health problems isn't easy but your friends will certainly understand if you explain to them what the consequences of an allergy are.

If you have a food allergy, follow your diet and don't pick food off your neighbour's plate! It's important to stay on your guard!

A school trip outside of your province of residence?

An allergic reaction can happen very quickly and with little warning. If you require emergency medical attention during your trip, personal travel insurance will help you cover expenses like ambulance transportation or medication. Remember, when you travel outside of your home province, your provincial health insurance only reimburses a portion of the expenses you have to pay for treatment.
