With the new Cross-Border Debit service, you can pay for your purchases with your Desjardins Access Card.

The service is available at nearly one million retailers in the United States.

It works just like the direct payment system in Canada but only with chequing accounts:

1. use the keypad to confirm the amount of the transaction;
2. enter your PIN;
3. press on OK.

If the required funds are in the account, the transaction is approved in a few seconds and you receive a receipt.
