Desjardins Group congratulates the winners of the 2011 Prix Femmes d'affaires du Québec

On November 9, 2011, the Réseau des Femmes d'affaires du Québec announced the 10 honourees of the 2011 Prix Femmes d'affaires du Québec to an audience of over 700 businesspeople.

Johanne Perron, a member of the Desjardins Group Board of Directors and general manager of the Caisse Desjardins du Quartier-Latin de Montréal, was the honorary chair of this prestigious event, which recognizes leading female figures in Quebec business in 10 categories.

At the event, Josiane Moisan, VP, Careers, Succession and Talent Acquisition, presented the award for the distinguished woman entrepreneur - large business category to Caroline Bouchard, president of Provigo Caroline Bouchard and Marché Centre-Ville.

Through its continued support of this initiative, Desjardins acknowledges the significant contribution that women make to the business world. Recognizing women as an asset to cooperatives as well as a testament to social progress and sustainable prosperity for the community as a whole, Desjardins is committed to developing a diverse business culture across the entire organization.

All of these women, who exemplify courage, determination and leadership, are a source of inspiration and pride to their peers and future generations. They deserve our most sincere congratulations.
