Monthly benefit period	For 5 years or to age 65

Monthly benefit amount	A financial security advisor1 will help you determine the amount that's right for you (from $250 to $6,000 a month) based on your employment income The benefit is reduced by the amount of any other income or benefits you receive
Waiting period	2, 4, 8 or 17 weeks
Indexing	Adjusts the monthly benefit based on the Consumer Price Index to protect against inflation
Cost	Based on the benefit amount selected and your personal situation (age, gender, smoking habits, waiting period selected, job category, province of residence, etc.)
Other	Lets you: increase the monthly benefit by up to 5% each year without proof of good health (as long as you're not disabled) add other insureds or coverages like term life insurance, permanent life insurance, universal life insurance, critical illness insurance or healthcare insurance Offers all the benefits of the Vision contract
Assistance services	Access several GPS Program assistance services at no extra charge: Business Assistance Convalescence Assistance – referrals Legal Assistance Estate Settlement Assistance Travel Assistance
