Covers travel, lodging and restaurant expenses incurred as a result of a family member's hospitalization.

Features

• You receive a daily benefit in the following situations:
  • Hospitalization: $100 for each day after the first 24 hours of hospitalization. No bills need be presented.
  • Convalescence: reimbursement of expenses incurred for home care or for care in a recognized day or extended care centre. Maximum of $100 per day upon presentation of bills.
• Individual, family, single-parent or couples coverage available.
• Available to individuals aged 18 to 75.
• Benefit period: 30, 60 or 90 days for each hospital stay or convalescence, as per level of protection selected at the time of the contract.
• Cost based on age, risk category and level of protection selected.
• Coverage period: lifetime.
