Disability – Monthly Expenses – Basic

Allows insured to received a fixed monthly benefit to meet personal monthly expenses.

Features

• Monthly benefit: fixed amount between $100 and $1,500, as elected by insured at the time of the contract. Benefit amount is not based on income prior to the time of the contract. Benefit amount is also not reduced by other income or benefits paid to insured.
• Benefit period: up to a maximum of 12 months.
• Waiting period: 4 weeks.
• Available to individuals aged 18 to 60.
• Cost varies according to coverage selected and personal factors (age, gender, smoker or non-smoker, general health, etc.)
• Coverage period: up to age 65.
