Document your project and develop a business plan	Before meeting with your Desjardins advisor, make sure you have documented your application and written up your business plan.
Establish project costs and project funding	Create a table listing your business’s financing needs and sources of funding.
Select the appropriate type of financing	There are 3 types of business financing available: debt financing, equity financing and government programs.
Prepare your request for financing	Once you’ve determined your needs and selected the appropriate type of financing, you can move to the next step, writing and presenting your request for financing.
