Freneco, a manufacturer of roofing construction materials based in the Quebec City region, is now developing new business abroad thanks to assistance and advice received from Desjardins personnel and to Desjardins business relationships.

Gérald Frenette, President of Freneco and formerly a bank client, says he is "now a satisfied Desjardins business member". He said he appreciated receiving quick answers to his many questions about exchange rates, accounts receivable insurance, letters of guarantee, etc., when he was first getting started in the exporting business.

Advisors at the Notre-Dame-de-Portneuf Desjardins Business Centre and the Desjardins International Services Centre (DISC) assisted the firm in carrying out its business plans and internationalization strategy.
