Young and…invincible?

Accidents can happen at any time! For example, Desjardins Financial Security's statistics show that young people in the 18-24 age group have the highest claims on average for accidents that involve a fracture.

But what happens if you're in an accident during the school year?

Accirance has thought about that too! If you are an insured student under 25 and you become totally disabled because of an accident, Desjardins Financial Security will reimburse you for the following expenses1:

  • Private courses
  • School transportation
  • Re-orientation
  • Tuition fees

To be "totally disabled" means that you cannot continue with your studies. Your condition must have been caused by an accident and requires continuous medical care. Specialized care must be provided by an appropriate specialist.
