  1. I am a former POSO client. Do I automatically become a Desjardins Credit Union member?

  2. No. Until you complete a membership application, pay your $5 membership share (qualifying share) and open an account, you are not a member.

  4. You both have to become members to operate a joint account.

  5. I have accounts at several Desjardins Credit Union branches; how many memberships do I need?

  6. The cooperative concept, "one member, one vote." means that you just need one membership to gain access to all Desjardins Credit Union's products and services, no matter how many accounts you have or which branches you use.

  7. I administer an estate account, should I become a member of Desjardins Credit Union?

  8. Yes. Each executor/executrix of an Estate account has to become a member and each has the right to vote on issues concerning Desjardins Credit Union.
