Q. To get a Student STRATEGIC Line of Credit, members need to have life insurance. Does the insurance have to be with Desjardins?

A. You can take out life insurance with the insurer and representative of your choice as long as the insurance meets caisse approval. If you don't already have life insurance, Desjardins Financial Security offers an attractive insurance option: Line of Credit Insurance.

Q. What happens to the principal payments on my Student STRATEGIC Line of Credit if I don't find a job right away when I finish school?

A. You must begin paying back the principal no later than 12 months after you finish your full-time studies. However, interest is still payable monthly just like when you were still in school.

A. Interest is due monthly only on the amount you've borrowed.

A. The Student STRATEGIC Account is offered only to members who have a Student STRATEGIC Line of Credit, as this account is used to access the line of credit.

A. The D Capital Solution was developed to meet the needs of people in specific fields of study and includes some exclusive advantages.
