Desjardins Becomes the Official Partner of the Québec Soccer Federation

More than 200,000 young people in action.

Laval (Québec), May 21, 2008 – Desjardins Group is pleased to announce its commitment as official partner of the Québec Soccer Federation for a period of three years. The 2008 season will take place under the theme “Le soccer, plus qu’un coup de tête! Suivez le mouvement des 200 000 joueurs et joueuses au Québec”.

In addition to encouraging sports participation in young people, this partnership agreement extends the support granted by caisses to local and regional soccer associations across Québec. In fact, this project is a result of an initiative of the Caisse Desjardins des policiers et policières. Desjardins is also the sponsor for the senior and U14 male and female categories of the Québec Elite Soccer League.
