Lévis (Québec), February 29, 2008 – Financière agricole du Québec-Développement international (FADQDI) and Développement international Desjardins (DID) are pleased to announce ratification of a partnership agreement.
Under this agreement, the two organizations will share their expertise and resources to carry out projects in various developing countries. The projects chosen will contribute to increasing the outreach of financial services to local communities, especially those with additional specific needs in rural areas.
This partnership agreement will increase the competitive edge of the two organizations in seeking contracts in their respective areas of expertise.
About FADQDI
FADQDI offers the know-how developed by La Financière agricole du Québec in crop insurance and agricultural financing. It also offers applications of geomatics technology for agriculture and provides assistance to young farmers. FADQDI can rely on the skills of large groups of specialists in these areas.
About DID
Created 37 years ago, Développement international Desjardins (DID) is a component of the Desjardins Group, the largest integrated cooperative financial group in Canada.
