RSS news feeds

What is an RSS news feed?

An RSS news feed makes it possible for you to read the news you want on your computer, at your convenience. RSS is a family of XML formats (Rich Site Summary, RDF Site Summary, Really Simple Syndication) wich are used to deliver frequently updated Web contents.

How to use RSS news feeds

There are three ways to use RSS feeds:

  1. Through your Internet Explorer 7 browser, Firefox or Safari
  2. By subscribing to a feed aggregator like Netvibes, iGoogle or My Yahoo
  3. By installing a feed reader on your computer. To download the software, use a search engine to search for "RSS reader" or "RSS news feed".
