Serge Cloutier

Executive Vice-President, Cooperative Development and Democratic Governance Support, Desjardins Group

Serge Cloutier is Executive Vice-President, Cooperative Development and Democratic Governance Support of Desjardins Group. He is responsible for supporting the cooperative and democratic aspect of the caisse network.

Mr. Cloutier has been with Desjardins since 1985, and since 2001 was General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins Allard-Saint-Paul. Since 1992, he was in turn General Manager of the Caisses Saint-Jean-de-Matha de Montréal and Côte-Saint-Paul. He also sat on several Desjardins Group bodies, including the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses populaires de Montréal et de l'Ouest-du-Québec, Place Desjardins and Desjardins Trust. Until his appointment, he was on the Board of Directors of Desjardins Financial Security and the Council of Representatives – Ouest de Montréal.

Mr. Cloutier holds a BA from the Université du Québec à Montréal and is a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec.
