President of the Caisse populaire Desjardins de Longueuil, Pierre Tardif is a notary by profession.

He is a member and Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Caisse centrale Desjardins, Capital Desjardins, Desjardins Venture Capital and Desjardins Trust. He is on the Executive Committee and the Human Resources Commissions and Committees of these bodies. Mr. Tardif is a member of the Canadian Business Development Cooperative Advisory Board, Chair of the Committee on the Aggregate Remuneration of the President and Chief Executive Officer of Desjardins Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Desjardins Securities and of the Board of Directors of Northwest/Ethical.
