President of the Board of Directors of the Caisse populaire Desjardins du Sud Des Chenaux, Pierre Leblanc is an accountant by profession.

He sits on the Board of Directors of the Fédération des caisses Desjardins du Québec, Caisse centrale Desjardins, Capital Desjardins, Desjardins Venture Capital and Desjardins Trust. He is a member of the Audit Commissions and Committees of these bodies. He is a member of the Desjardins Group Retirement Committee and Investment Committee. Mr. Leblanc is also Chair of the Board of Directors of Fonds de sécurité Desjardins, and member of the Investment Commission of the Fédération.
